Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Also wisdom and instruction and understanding. Proverbs 23:23 NKJV
I am a sinner saved by amazing grace, a pilgrim on a journey to the Celestial City ( Hebrews 13:14, Rev. 21:1-2).
I chose Proverbs 23:23 as the theme for this site, as it has so much depth and power. The Truth is worth everything! Free but we must seek and search it, and never lose or sell it. The truth can not be created or modified by us. God liberally gives much wisdom to those who ask for it (James 1:5). Peter encourages believers to grow in grace and knowledge of their Lord and Saviour (2 Peter 3:18). These themes speak to how God has drawn me out of darkness and continues to lead me.
On this site, I share some of the discoveries and resources from my journey, with the intent of helping and encouraging those who come behind me. I pray that the Spirit would help me do so with love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-26) – speaking truth and against error and heresy, but with charity. I pray God would remove confusion from all our minds, so we can find out what God wants, in contrast to what we, the world, our family, our church, etc want (Romans 12:2).
We might graciously disagree with each other on eschatology or modes of baptism, but of the utmost importance is salvation – being right with God. Are you ready to meet Jesus (Rev. 1:7)? If not, look to Him today (Ps 2:10-12).
To God be the glory.
